for links you either just paste a link of the website directly where you want it, if it's a user from within the website you use :iconusername*: without the asterisk, or you use the html code one-> <a*href="http://website link">Name of link</a*> & again, without the asterisks :3

to add friends you simply add them to your "friends" by clicking on the "friends" check box on the "friends list" ( when you watch someone new, you get this list or you can access it by going to your my account that you will find to your right ) but that's if you have a paid account. when you simply want to add them to your journal by using the iconusername

Hey uhm..I'm just wondering if you could possibly help me learn some of the features of this web community. I was able to figure out some basic stuff, but I can't seem to figure out the friend system or the "link" system. Because I would like to link my work to those whose brushes I use or whose art work inspired me to make my own. If you would be willing to help me out I would very much appreciate it! =]
